My Story

Hello and welcome.

I am Tanya Kelly and I am a qualified Anma practitioner.

My introduction to Anma happened back in 2011, after going through a couple of years of various health problems. A friend of mine bought a treatment session as a birthday gift for me and after seeing the benefit of it I continued as a client and still do.

Over the years Anma balances (treatments) helped me with various backaches, neckaches, headaches, knee pain, "I just feel out of sorts with myself" and many more. So when an opportunity to become trained in Anma came up, there was no way I was going miss it. I knew how important these treatments have been for me and wanted to be able to offer the same to others.

The training is a 4 year programme, which gives deep insight into the human body, it's structure, it's various components and interlink between them. It involves hours and hours of hands on practice, but also gives me the joy of seeing somebody's face light up after the treatment.

Anma has been a really important part in my wellbeing and I would like to share it with you.

What is Anma

Anma is thought to have originated on the Indian continent before spreading into China, where it became a highly regarded healing modality for many decades. It eventually spread into Japan by Chinese warrior monks who passed the knowledge to Japanese healers.  Anma has since been lost to Chinese society, however, the Japanese people have maintained this powerful healing method.

Anma stands for An = push, Ma = pull and is a method of effecting change in the body without the need for force to be used. Applying this method facilitates the correction for numerous complaints, such as:

  • cranial issues

  • headaches /  migraines

  • neck / shoulder / knee / lower back problems and injuries

  • kidney issues

  • post natal issues

  • sports injuries

  • digestive problems and many more

Anma treats the body as a whole, where each part can have an affect throughout the rest of the body. Often the issue that is causing the problem can be very distal (far away from the problem).
